The upper wings rise high and narrow towards the tips, while the shorter lower wings fan out further outwards and downwards. Curved dark lines in the wings follow a pattern reminiscent of the veins of insect wings.

Cream and amber when the lamp is lit
When the lamp is lit, the differences between the glass panels are clearly visible. Cream and light yellow sections belong to the brightest zones of the wings, while amber and orange-like areas appear fuller and darker in various spots. The individual glass parts are cut by hand, assembled according to a template, wrapped in copper foil along the edges, and then soldered together. Within the wings, slight differences in colour and structure are visible. Some parts appear quite uniform, while others have a slightly variegated or cloudy appearance. Due to the manual production process, small differences in glass and solder work may occur, ensuring that no two examples are exactly alike.

Dark legs and fine antennae
The supporting parts are incorporated into the butterfly shape itself, with a dark central body and multiple curved leg-shaped elements that support the lamp. Two thin antennae protrude above the body, with small curled details at the tips.
