This Tiffany butterfly lamp is shaped like an upright butterfly with two tall wings, a slender body and two delicate antennae. A broad, low base decorated with flowers and leaves completes the nature-inspired design.

The wings are made from approximately 110 individual pieces of genuine glass. Yellow, golden yellow and amber are the main colours, complemented by green, orange, red, dark red and purplish-red accents.

When the lamp is switched on, the yellow, golden-yellow and orange glass in the centre of the wings glows particularly brightly. The red outer edges and some of the green sections remain darker, helping the shape of the wings stand out.

Measuring 15 cm long, 16 cm wide and 22.5 cm high, this is a compact animal lamp. It fits comfortably on a sideboard, occasional table, cabinet or another small piece of furniture.

The butterfly itself forms the lamp. Two raised wings stand almost symmetrically around a narrow dark body. Elongated, curved and geometrically divided glass panels follow the direction of real wing veins. Two slender antennae rise above the body.

Yellow and amber glow most brightly
When illuminated, the central yellow, golden-yellow and orange glass sections glow most strongly. Green panels add colour, while red and purplish-red outer edges remain darker, emphasising the wing contours. Dark solder lines stay clearly visible between the illuminated pieces.

Handcrafted using the Tiffany technique
The wings are made from approximately 110 individual pieces of genuine glass and are handcrafted using the Tiffany technique. The individual glass pieces are cut, edged with copper foil and then soldered together. Small variations in the glass and soldering are characteristic of this handcrafted technique.

A base covered in flowers and leaves
