A Tiffany stained-glass turtle lamp brings a cheerful, colourful nature-inspired accent into your home. It depicts a large resting turtle with a small turtle sitting on top of its shell.

The lamp is 22 cm long, 18 cm wide and 16 cm high. The large turtle's illuminated shell is made from larger, irregular glass panels in cream, white, amber, orange, red, yellow, blue, turquoise, green and soft purplish brown. Together, these colours create a playful mosaic pattern.

When you switch the lamp on, the warm yellow, amber, orange and red tones glow more brightly. The blue, turquoise and green glass remains fresher in appearance, creating a colourful contrast.

The shell is made from approximately 60 individual pieces of genuine glass. Thanks to its low, compact shape, this turtle lamp fits beautifully on a bedside table, windowsill, sideboard, bookshelf, console table or hallway table.

The head, legs and tail form part of a dark brown and bronze-coloured turtle body made from a zinc-aluminium metal alloy. The glass shell provides the light, while the small turtle on top makes the animal design even more recognisable and playful.

This Tiffany lamp depicts a large resting turtle with a small turtle perched on its shell. The rounded stained-glass shell is illuminated, while the larger turtle’s head, legs and tail are finished in dark-brown and bronze-coloured metal. The smaller turtle gives the design a playful character: rather than a single animal, it creates a little scene of two turtles together.

Multicoloured glass in a playful mosaic
When unlit, the larger, irregularly shaped glass panels give the shell a mosaic-like appearance. Cream and white sit mainly around the edge; amber, orange, red and yellow add warmth; blue, turquoise and green provide fresher accents; and soft purplish-brown adds nuance. When illuminated, the warm colours glow more richly while the blue-green sections remain cooler. The result is a lively decorative light, not a bright task lamp.

The shell is made from approximately 60 individual pieces of genuine glass. Visible solder lines define its irregular segments and reinforce the mosaic pattern. Each piece has its own colour and degree of translucency. As the glass is selected and worked individually, the distribution of colours and subtle nuances varies between lamps.

A dark-brown and bronze-coloured turtle body
There is no tall shade or separate stand. The head, legs and tail form part of a zinc-aluminium alloy body with a dark-brown and bronze-coloured finish. Its reptile-like texture complements the shell and provides a stable foundation. No assembly is needed: fit a suitable E14 bulb, insert the Type C plug and use the inline on/off switch. There is no dimmer.
