This Tiffany table lamp in the shape of a reclining cat brings together warm orange glass tones, a pale chest and a relaxed feline pose in a compact decorative light. Its front paws stretch forwards and its tail curves alongside its body, making the cat look comfortably settled.

The body is made from approximately 136 individual pieces of genuine glass. Orange, amber and golden-yellow glass panels form the back and sides. Cream and ivory soften the chest, belly and muzzle, while the green eyes, red nose and pink inner ears add recognisable touches of colour.

When the lamp is switched off, its natural pose, curved tail and varied glass textures stand out. Once lit, the orange sections deepen to amber and the golden-yellow panels glow from within. The pale glass sections take on a soft ivory tone.

A cat resting comfortably
This lamp is shaped entirely like a reclining cat. Its front paws point forwards, its head is slightly raised and its tail curves along the side of the body. The natural pose makes it look as though the cat is watching the room from its resting place. Solder lines follow the head, muzzle, shoulders, back, paws and tail, keeping its shape recognisable.

A glow along the back and belly
When unlit, the glass alternates between orange, amber, golden yellow, cream and ivory, with marbling creating small differences in colour along the back and flanks. When switched on, light spreads from the centre of the body. Orange deepens to amber, yellow glows golden and cream becomes softer and more ivory-like. Dark solder lines remain visible, outlining the elongated body.

A face with bright accents
The green eyes gain depth when illuminated and remain the most striking facial detail. A red nose adds a small bright accent, while pink inner ears soften the warm glass colours. Together with the pale muzzle, these details give the cat a calm, friendly expression.

Handcrafted from 136 glass pieces
The lamp contains approximately 136 individual pieces of genuine glass. Each is shaped, wrapped in copper foil and soldered to neighbouring pieces. Marbled orange, amber and golden-yellow glass forms the back and upper body; lighter glass with a soft, cloudy texture forms the chest, belly and muzzle. Small variations in colour, texture and soldering are part of the handmade process.

Low in profile, clearly visible
The cat has no conventional lampshade or separate decorative base. The glass animal forms the whole lamp and rests on four small metal support feet. These are barely noticeable, keeping the focus on the glasswork. Their dark finish matches the solder lines and suits the low silhouette.
