About Us
RORUVERA brings warmth and atmosphere to life with authentic Tiffany lamps – handcrafted, elegant and full of character. Not mass-produced items, but timeless pieces with meaning. Every design brings warmth and personality into a room. To us, Tiffany lamps are more than products: they are stories, created to bring calm and atmosphere into your home. Experience the warm glow of coloured glass and a touch of nostalgia for traditional craftsmanship. Welcome to RORUVERA.
Perhaps your home looks complete, yet something is missing – warmth, soul or a sense of individuality? That is exactly where our lamps make a difference.
How RORUVERA began
RORUVERA grew from a simple wish: to bring the magic of Tiffany lamps back to life in modern homes, for people who appreciate tranquillity, character and an interior that feels just right. We live in an age of bright LED lighting and passing trends, yet the serene glow and timeless elegance of Tiffany glass still move us.
Long before RORUVERA became a brand, a Tiffany lamp stood on the sideboard in our family home. Its warm light and peaceful atmosphere left a lasting impression. We saw how a carefully chosen lamp could truly transform a space: a dark corner became a comforting retreat, while a room came alive with colours dancing across the walls.
Why RORUVERA? Because we believe lighting can do more than serve a practical purpose. It can stir emotions, bring a moment of beauty and turn a house into a home.
Rob and Rudy Veraar – two generations, one vision
The name RORUVERA combines our names: Rob and Rudy Veraar. As nephew and uncle, we have shared a love of Tiffany lamps for many years, along with a passion for running a business with heart and character.
Rob Veraar
Rob (born in 1982) grew up in a family of traders and later helped build Maxima Kitchen Equipment into an international success. His first experience with Tiffany lamps? That began 24 years ago, with the purchase of an entire container of stained-glass lamps. His fascination never faded. After years working in a world of stainless steel and functionality, he is now returning to a different kind of lasting quality: warm, durable lighting pieces that bring atmosphere to a home for years to come.
At RORUVERA, Rob looks after the foundations of quality, reliability and finishing. He believes every lamp should not only be beautiful, but also sturdy and carefully made, with attention to every detail.
Rudy Veraar
Rudy (born in 1964) is an experienced coach, trainer and entrepreneur. Through his company Ruvesteps, he has spent years helping people and businesses make choices that genuinely reflect who they are. His strength lies in helping others find calm, direction and harmony – qualities that are reflected in the style and atmosphere of RORUVERA.
Rudy sees every Tiffany lamp as an opportunity to create a connection: with a space, a feeling or a memory. He brings a sense of meaning to the brand. Depth, empathy and aesthetics go hand in hand for him. Together, Rob and Rudy make a complementary team: structure and style, practicality and imagination.
We do not simply make products; we create atmosphere. And we do so in the way we would want to be helped ourselves: honestly, personally and without rushing. – Rob & Rudy
Craftsmanship, partnerships and heritage
We choose our suppliers with care. RORUVERA works exclusively with manufacturers who have more than 40 years of experience in the craft of making Tiffany lamps. These family-run businesses have mastered the traditional copper foil technique, from hand-cut glass to delicate soldering. This enables us to offer lasting quality and distinctive finishes.
To us, Tiffany is not a trend but a tradition. Rob and Rudy were already involved in the production and sale of these lamps through their families in earlier years. That network, experience and love of the craft live on in RORUVERA today – more refined, more personal and with an even greater appreciation of character.
The story behind our logo – the hummingbird
Our logo features a hummingbird. It is much more than a little bird: it is a powerful symbol. The hummingbird represents joy, lightness, resilience and precision – qualities that reflect our brand. Just like our lamps, which may appear still yet are full of energy and meaning.
The hummingbird moves freely, fluttering from flower to flower in search of life’s sweetness. Tiffany lamps do something similar: they bring colour, warmth and light without demanding attention. They invite you to pause for a moment and leave a lasting impression.
For us, the hummingbird also stands for balance: the ability to be still in a fast-moving world, and for beauty that does not shout but gently touches you. Just like a Tiffany lamp.
